Forest gardening, or agroforestry, is a system based on woodland ecosystems, incorporating fruit and nut trees, shrubs, herbs, vines and perennial vegetables. On this course we will look at the many potential layers of a forest garden, looking in detail at species of fruit trees and bushes that produce well in this climate. Some hands-on demonstrations of best practice in planting fruit trees.
