A series of workshops which will enable participants to confidently identify and prepare a selection of edible plants. Courses run from April to September and will focus on a range of areas from seashore edibles and hedgerow herbs to trees, fruits, roots and mushrooms. This is a hands on course in which we will go through all the stages of building a free standing shelter using round forestry poles. We will look at simple ways of joining the poles together and structural bracing. This will all come together to create a living roof that will have a waterproof membrane, soil and plants growing on it.

We'll be discussing and demystifying batteries, battery housing, cables, inverters and charge controllers, and helping you to analyse how much power you may need and how to achieve that with wind, hydro or pv.
