Old English variety dating back to 1875. Regular and heavy cropper of juicy and sweet green fruits covered with brown specs. Being a tetraploid it needs another three pears to be pollinated. Flowering group: C (Conference, Black Worcester, William’s bon Chretien, Beurre Hardy).
