Support Irish Seed Savers
Become a Friend of the Irish Seedsavers Association
By becoming a friend of Irish Seed Savers or nominating a friend or relative to become a Friend of Irish Seed Savers Association you are supporting our work in a very real and tangible manner. We depend very much on the support of our subscribers and friends to allow us to continue preserving and encouraging others to grow on the many varieties of heritage seed, potatoes and Fruit trees we have here at Seed Savers Association. We are a registered charity (no. CHY13989) and are the only organisation in Ireland engaged in this urgent work. Time is running out for conserving these old varieties. - once they are gone they are gone forever. And we need your help.
Help to ensure that the rare trees and many plants we conserve grow abundantly throughout the country and further afield and never come so near the verge of extinction again.
Joining a friend or relative to become a Friend of Irish Seed Savers makes a wonderful gift especially for someone who is far away from Ireland but whose heart is near. Why not celebrate a birth, birthday, anniversary or Wedding by nominating someone to become a Friend of Irish Seed Savers.
The nominated person will receive the following benefits
- A beautiful Certificate to show they are a Friend of Irish Seed Savers Association
- our Newsletter by email twice a year keeping you up-to-date with the results of our work and details of similar international work.
- FREE access to our heritage gardens and orchards here in Co Clare.
- Learn how to grow and save seeds via our website
- Contribute to the preservation of Irish and European biodiversity by supporting our growing of rare varieties of fruit and vegetables. We are a charity and are very grateful for all of the support we get. We could not do this important work without the support of our many subscribers and Friends of Irish Seed Savers.
- You help secure the long-term viability of the organisation and give us a platform from which to lobby for environmental and agricultural policies that benefit biodiversity.
